  Purpose

This research aims to study the future of "at risk" or pathological gamblers seeking treatment at the University Hospital of Nantes. The study focuses on socio-demographic and clinical data. It notably aims to study the evolution of these variables according to the evolution of the gambling behaviours, the step of care, the modality of care, etc

Study Population

Pathological or "at risk" gambling

Criteria

Inclusion Criteria:

All consecutive pathological or "at risk" gamblers seeking treatment at the University Hospital of Nantes will be allowed to participate to the study.

Exclusion Criteria:

Gamblers meeting less than 3 diagnostic criteria of the " pathological gambling " section of DSM-IV, gamblers under tutelage (a French protecting measure for persons with altered judgement), or gamblers presenting obvious cognitive disturbances will be excluded.
